Cars & Classes

1300 Stox

For beginners with little experience we suggest you start with 1300 Stox.
These are the most forgiving formula and easiest to drive but are also competetive.

Contact is allowed in this class so crashing is common but with the big bumpers damage is kept to a minimum.

Saloon Stox

A step up from the 1300 Stox due to having a 6 cell battery or a 1s Lipo brushless system, giving more speed, making them harder to drive but rewarding once you have got to grips with them.

Contact is allowed in this class so crashing is common but with the big bumpers damage is kept to a minimum.

Mini Stox

Mini Stox is one of the oldest classes but don’t be fooled into thinking they are the same as the old minis that you used to see years ago. Even though they may look the same under the skin things have improved a lot over the years and now these little cars can be really fast.

It’s all about tyres choice with minis – get it right and you’re unbeatable, get it wrong and its undriveable.

National Hotrods

Hot rods are the prettiest class and are the pro’s choice. Nearly every club runs them and they are extremely competitive.

These are the fastest class and are powered by brushless motors. These are very distinctive with their clear lexan body shells and large wings.
These can be very hard to drive cleanly without crashing at high speeds
